Today I groomed a little Cavapoo who was very matted and extremely uncomfortable. Her owners usually have her groomed regularly. However, as she had a major operation a few weeks ago it is only now that vet has given permission for her to be groomed.
I wish I could have given this advice to her owners.
If you dog is due to have an operation is always better to get them groomed before their op as it may be sometime before it is OK for them to be groomed. A few days stay in the vets might result in their fur being soiled with wee & poo as they need cage rest. This can cause matting if their coats are long.
