Do my dog’s nails need cutting?  A question I get asks often here at Poochy Woochy Groomers. I have decided to do a quick blog in reply to that question in the hope that it may help you.  Below is a before and after photo of a dogs nails.  In the first photo you can clearly see that the nails are touching the ground and need a trim.  In the second photo her nails have been trimmed and do not touch the ground.

  I offer a free nail check in between grooming appointment to all of my customers.   One word of warning before I go, it is always advisable to go to a professional to trim your dog’s nails as they have been trained to do it correctly and safely.
